Minimum Requirements.

Qualifications and experience.

• Psychologist
• Social Worker  

Must have:

• Postgraduate training in Couples Therapy

• Experience in relationship/couples counselling

• Medicare Provider number

• Company entity and corresponding bank account

Model of practice

You will need to have a preference for working within, but not limited to, the following models of practice;

 

1. Narrative Therapy
2. Brief Therapy
3. Solution Focused Therapy
4. Gestalt Therapy

5. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy  

6. Family Therapy

We discourage any further interest on your part if you only work within the psychodynamic/analytic framework.

Locations

Several consulting room locations are offered. You may consider consulting from the following:- 

• Humaneed consulting rooms (see Locations  )

Technology needs  

• You must have a mobile phone with a voice mail message service
• You are required to have Broadband internet access;
• You need to be computer literate and use Windows 2000 or later and have the latest IE running.
• You will to use Microsoft Outlook as you email programme (Outlook Express if not enough)

Insurance requirements

• Public liability
• Professional indemnity
• Workcover if desired
